43 seconds. LARGE NUT.
Where is the rest of this video?
In this clip……
The ball joint is still attached to the car you helmet. What a useless and
pointless video.
yeah and generally when you do you know some shit about cars.
i got tired looking for where to start, Nathan forgot to number his videos
and is hard to follow them. I better check if someone else have the same
proccedure in one long video or in several videos ordained by numbers.
well done
He missed the part of how to remove it from the control arm useless
HAi my name is nathan mucculogh
Love all Ur instructional videos expertvillage. Keep up the good work.
My cousin got had for 800
?????????????????????
thanks!!! thats why i couldnt get it off… cause i didn’t take off the flu
bolt
wow.. i know how to do it now to the fullest extent
big help saved me a bundle of money
@xspyrle i disagree, but i started out w/o impacts and as long as i turn
wrenches i will never go back.
I hate Expert Village videos because they break everything down into
multiple segments. They’d be a lot better if they went with a long format.
I don’t need three segments to boil an egg.
ahh ok, u get that far then the end of the video..?? u really didn’t show
us anything
If it might slip out then why do we use pickle forks to break them loose?
Thanks for posting this. BTW, just a small point but it’s “worn,” not
“warn.” Best
great videos but y not 10:00 min. long and less videos
Firestone may be different, but shops often use a guide (I forget what it’s
called) that gives a labor schedule for different tasks. Then, regardless
of how long it takes they charge by how many hours the book lists. If it’s
quicker, then better for you. That doesn’t mean you aren’t getting screwed
(those labor schedules are debated), but I wouldn’t worry about it.
I do not trust expert village…
what? so short video, did not finish or simplify
liquid wrench saves lives.
@kevinle692005 idiot
ever hear of an* impact* wrench?
ETCG owns these noobs look hime up.
you just fucked up that bolt taking it out like that lol dumb ass! there is
pressure on that ball joint! pry down on the A-arm just a cunt hair to take
out the bolt with out fucking it up.thats why they didnt show the rest lol
no, it won’t
should it take an hour to do this? I had firestone do it and they charged
me 80 bucks for service.
Nate, buddy! A couple of things. Not enough lighting. Also needs some
explanation as to orientation on the car. lastly, WTF, can’t the guy hold
the camera any steadier? use a tripod. shoot it in segments and edit. This
video is poor quality overall. i have looked at aa lot of your videos and
have enjoyed them. you are awesome. i just didn’t get much from this one
because of the lack of planning and lack of quality!
Finish the job… damn.
hi my lower ball joint popped out. i think it was when i jack the car and
had the front tire resting on a spare tire to assure car wouldnt fall while
i was working under it. is there a way to pop back in? or should i change
it? its been making a squeaking noise for a while on and off though
great video, as an apprentice mechanic these videos are a great to
watch…Thanks Nathan!!
@deep – I think it’s basically a step by step and nothing more type of
demonstration. What gets me is why the videos all have the same title with
episode numbers.
@TheCandiShopp Damn that sucks dude :O
1:19 to 2:51 could have been done in a fraction of the time w/ impact. it
is an informative vid
yes it means you are getting screwed. I spent $1,200 on new tie rods, power
steering pump, rack n pinion
most ppl do not have the use of a shop or impact tools
@xspyrle Why not?
i was told it would cost me 400 dollars to do this
