The fan you see here is for the engine. The one that you are talking about is the blower motor fan under the passenger side dash board area. That controls the arm coming into the vehicle.
i drive a 1999 deville when i turn on the ac i hear the fans come on, but no air is being blown from the vents

You may want to make sure that the fan is kicking off and on properly. Also check the water pump to see if it’s leaking at all, as a water pump that’s going might also cause this type of a situation. Hope this helps you out.

i have a 1988 cadillac deville and the fan want stop running…….need help
(2002 Lincoln ls v8 ) After i got my oil change and had new spark plugs put in i started to get an overheating problem. I put in a new thermostat and had pep boys check my cooling system and they didnt find anything wrong but I still have the overheating problem. what can it be?
the deville and Seville are very similar especially in the motor so they should cross over from each other in how the fan fits.
What about for a 99 STS?
If only one is broke you can replace just one.

The Seville may be different, than the one shown for the Deville in this video.
So is this the same way on the Seville or no?
Once the engine gets up to temperature it should kick on, once the thermostat on the fan reaches the temperature that it’s set at to kick the fan on.
How do you test it to make sure it works?
wow gm sure does pack those motors in there.. i gotta do the same job on a 94 caddy… well i gotta replace the rad.
