+ff5gus I was thinking about cleaning the condenser. Do you think it is
worth it?
As for the blower motor. I filmed this video first then the blower motor
resistor video. I just happened to edit the other video first because with
this video I had to retake some audio and video I messed up on.

ChrisFix says:

+Luis Payan, I cannot reply to your comment for some reason, so hopefully
you see this. I would check your cruise control fuse because that is easy
to do, but I would check your vacuum lines going to the cruise control.
They might have fallen off or be cracked.

My blower motor on my old Acura TL went out but it was buried deep inside
the center of my dash. I literally sold the car instead of fixing it.

Hello Chris! I have a 1993 ford ranger with the 2.3 motor and manual
transmission. I have an issue with the coolant gauge(reads cold) I just
replaced the send/switch to no avail. Also I’m having issues with my a/c
cooling at idle, it gets ice cold driving but as soon as I idle it seems to
stop cooling. I have a new fan clutch and clean condenser and I have proper
amount of freon.(it has had the r-134 conversion done to it before I bought
it) I’m at a loss here.(I am considering cleaning the evaporator as I saw
how bad yours had gotten.) So please consider making videos about these
issues they seem pretty common! 🙂

Great video, seems simple.

Chris hey brother love your videos , me and my shop sub your channel. That
homemade atf & acetone lube works great. My question for you is what motor
oil do you use on each of your vehicles and why? Im a manger at a light
repair shop and and working on a Tribology degree online from M.I.T. So
lubricants and specifically engine lubricants are my passion. But I fight
with dealership asshats that are not ASE and old guys who just say their
mechanic said “Just put 10/40 in it…this drives me nuts. So what are
thoughts on base stocks and additive packs and Viscosity Index Improves and
how much VII you are willing to swap for base stock. I try to use G4 pao
only but even mobil1 doesn’t tell you anymore.

Thanks, Chris…well done, informative and, as always, fun to watch.

Perfect timing! I was driving around with this noisy fan and it was getting
annoying. Thanks a lot! I am glad I am subscribed!

Another great vid to watch and learn, thank you for taking the time Chris!

Smashing video as allways chris :-))

Lots of good tips for improving your system, and no special tools needed
for the vehicle type your fixing :-))

One thing needs fixing though, the system needs something like a kitchen
flower strainer mesh fitted on the end of the air collection pipe to stop
the crud getting in again. Or slide a “clean” sock over the input, oow
imagine how bad it would be with a dirty smelly sock ha ha :-))

Hello Chris..
I have a question and need some help regarding my heat and AC cable. After
spending a hundred plus dollars on vacuuming and recharging an already
filled ac compressor on my b2600i I then found out that it was my cable
not stretching/moving all the way to the cold direction under the dash and
it is still really tight and needs to go a bit more towards the cold
direction yet the cable feels as if something is restricting it from going.
Do you have any advice or help that would explain to me how to free up the
cable a bit to move it down towards the cold fully. the panel switch is
really tight as well though it does move enough to heat or cool slightly.
I wish I was able to send you a picture of the cable holder/adjuster under
the dash for a better understanding if this sounds confusing with my little
understanding of vehicle maintenance.
If a picture would help I will be happy to send you one if there is an
email you use for business or you tube etc..
Thanks in advance sir.
Jeremy
Oh and by the way the cleaning of the Mass air flow did wonders for my
pickup.
Thanks for the excellent teaching on that.

Great instructions, on my B4000 my blower motor has lost its first 3
speeds, I only have high. is this generally a motor problem or switch?

Marissa Calcione says:

Another great video. I’ve learned so much from your videos, and you make it
really easy to understand.

ff5gus says:

Ya they say to use rinseless coil cleaner for radiator, evaporator , and
condenser

Luis Payan says:

I have a question about my 2003 Dodge neon, my cruise control keeps going
out and idk if its a fuse in my box that is bad or something else? Do you
know what the problem might be?

ff5gus says:

Get coil cleaner for AC condenser, you’ll have super cold air flowing then.

ff5gus says:

You screwed up the fan after you replaced the resistor control?
