the laser shifters need to be level and exposed….behind the grill is a
compromise…remember laser is light…radar is sound
actually 3 shifters are a fix it ticket…4 are a misdemeanor…if you want
to argue that the shifters are not compromised being behind anything vs
externally mounted w/o obstruction we will agree to disagree…again
remember physics…light vs sound
the laser shiffters are level. keep in mind in the state of California it
is illegal to have any time of jammers in certain counties.there is a fine
line of being seen and not. where they are located they work perfectly fine
(been tested several times). so as long as it has a good line of sight out
from the car it will work. again you don’t want to bury it to where it
makes it that much harder for it to work. it takes the experience and
playing with it in order to make sure it works.
The retail price of the Passport 9500ci is $1699.95. To do a custom install

FYI: RADAR(RAdio Detection And Ranging) is NOT sound! Your mistaking that
for SONAR… Radio is part of the light spectrum.
if you look close the have a clear line of sight. most shops will bury them
and yes then you are right they wont work well. keep in mind they aren’t
legal in most places so there i a fine line to hiding them and making sure

everything i have read says the laser shifters need to be unobstructed
that pop up in the center dash is such a good idea..you guys have the

that’s the coolest install i’ve ever seen. i wouldn’t put the shifters
behind the grill.
