Where can i buy a Line-In
ok kadies and gents who own cts 2003 with stock radio with no aux in/out :
i researched how it was done and i have the same model as the video person
. i used ” isimple tranzit -IS77 ” which works well with the radio shown in
the video . the IS77 gives you 2 choices of how you want to play your
device . you can ONLY use 1 of the two …………..
the 1st choice is the ipod cable from fm transmitter . i didnt use this one
. the one i used was the 3mm auxillary jack mounted near my ashtray area .
the reason why i chose this one because it lets me plug in anything audio .
the other way , you can only use ipod products . the installation for the
ISIMPLE is easy BUT a person like me dont have that kind of time . i gave
the professionals 40 for install at local mom and pop stereo shop . i have
to say so far , the sound is great coming from a FM signal . OH yea , i
almost forgot , you will need to purchase the antenna harness 2 of them
which the cost for both rage about 13 bucks . it took then all of 40 mins
to install . so this is how he got auxillary on a stock cadillac cts radio
. the price ranges from 59 up to 100 for the device . the best way to
purchase it is online like amazon as an example . DO NOT INSTALL THAT
SWITCH because the one that they have for the product is real cheap . avoid
switches at all cost !
i hope this helps because it saved me a lot of time and money . just for
the parts for this cadillac cts alone wouldve costs 200-300 . thats not
counting the aftermarket radio you decide to purchase for the vehicle .
