im gonna change the starter but i got the VATS bypass and now i have parasitic power draw. ive tested all the fuses, relays, and taken out the radio and all other modules accept the door switches. changing those will be my next step after changing the starter.

I have a 96 cadillac deville its having low voltage problems it shut off when I come to a stop it cranks back up fine every time I start it voltage is at low 10 and 11 voltage I took it to a auto store they said alternator was good and battery was bad got new battery still doing same thing I was checking positive wire that runs to starter and knock sensor the green wire running to knock sensor is melted in one spot where its touching engine could that make my voltage drop
Is their a part number for the Fuel line removal Tool. Back when my Father had his garages when you could buy starter and alternator rebuild kits they came with a Brass Washer so you done the right thing by adding a Washer. Thank you
