I purchased me itch funny Control arms and the bushings stick out too far. How do I push them in to fit into the bracket on my vehicle? I tried a c clamp but was unsuccessful. Any ideas on what I should do? Thanks

M R says:

Is this for upper or lower control arms?

Liagellechim B says:

I'm purchasing a vehicle that has both rear upper control arms loose, rh frontstrut leaking/busted. They insisted it's not something I should be worried about so much and it could be done later on. But I'm not really sure about that. I'm asking for anyone's opinion here. What do you think?
Its a 2011 GMC Acadia.

J-Rod Plays says:

Couldn't you just place the tire on and set it down to tighen up the last 2 bolts on the control arm instead of using a jack?

Jason Tuttle says:

Ordered the ball joints from 1A. Got the old ones out (what a pain) and the bolts that came with are a little too big for the old rivet holes. Suggestions?

James says:

When I go to tighten the nut on the ball joint, it just keeps spinning.  The stud is spinning too.  I see a spot for an allen wrench in it but can't get to it to hold it.  Is it supposed to spin like this?

dmcloudy says:
