We have shown you how to build a Regal Ideas picket fence before but never how to make a gate. It’s a similar process but there are a few details for you to consider before you install it.

Great info thx for the vids. I having trouble focusing bc of that dam light fixture behind you. Otherwise, very good stuff.
Why did you silicone the mounting cover plates? Did not see that in the instructions. I guess to keep water from getting to the fasteners and more importantly the holes in the wood?
Looks like the post with the ends already on it is just a Regal Ideas REG-TB (end post) without the mounting plate. I have 2 left over REG-TB's and some upper and lower railing. Was thinking of using the leftover parts to make a gate. Am I overlooking anything?
Any vids on handicap rail installation 2 degrees 8:00
I know it would look different, but maybe a thin diagonal brace that goes on each side of the gate (so sandwiching the verticals) would stop the gate dropping like it did at 13:30
Love this style of vids keep an coming
Nice work. I just installed a latch kit like that. The latch that clicks into the plastic piece has a small screw that goes in from the back after you put those 2 peices together
