is that the right plus minus and left plus minus for just the sub you
tapped in? also if your deck has a high pass low pass filter wouldnt that
have been a better way to set up for sound quality usng its subwoofer out
but for anyone who hasnt replaced the deck i think this is a great diy

I actually also have an RCA running from my deck (Pioneer deck)… Here’s
the problem: the RCA preout has a low output that is set to match the
speaker outs from the deck. Since the speaker outs are being amplified
times a bunch by the Harman Kardon, the RCA preout ends up being very quiet
in contrast. ie- Even when I have my secondary Amp for my sub turned all
the way up (which is a really crappy thing to do in the first place) on the
RCA preout, it still is not loud enough to match the HK.
