Subscribed to you. All of your videos are extremely useful for a new BMW
enthusiast such as myself.

Fhantom99 says:

More on rear battery placement: “1. Save space in the engine compartment.
2. It is cooler in the trunk of the car. Cooler temps can help prolong the
battery life. 3. If the car is a rear wheel drive vehicle, the extra weight
in the back of the car can help with traction. 4. On some vehicles they
have the battery under the rear seat (i.e. BMW) which does this for weight
distribution purposes and helps cornering abilities.”

if want google this and see what happens – liedson bmw acidente

johnyboy6405 says:

Dont you think it’s dangerous?

FCP Euro says:

Hmmm, I’m not sure I remember that one, Was it the spinning ignition video
you’re thinking of maybe?

FCP Euro says:

I have to say I have never heard that before. But I have been corrected in
the past, maybe someone else can weigh in with their experiences.

johnyboy6405 says:

The battery near the fuel tank.. what the hell!!!

Fhantom99 says:

I’ve explained why it’s okay to have the battery in the trunk. If you think
it’s a bad idea, then don’t buy a BMW or drive a car for that matter; and
why are you on this forum? Call the guys at FCP and ask Zach, Gareth, or
anyone else about your concern. Calm your fears by educating yourself.

Fhantom99 says:

No. It’s naive to think it’s dangerous. BMW Passive Safety “As well as
minimizing the risk of injury in an accident, the passive safety system
assists in getting speedy help: it automatically activates the hazard
light, decouples the battery, turns on the cabin lights and unlocks all the
doors.”

Zach love your helpful vidoes, i thought i saw you had a video that
explained the starter replacement procedure on a BMW 325. if that video is
still available i could sure use the help in completing my job.

tsmgguy says:

Nice video! Might want to talk a little about the battery vent tube. Also,
the battery hold down is much easier to remove/replace if the pressure pad
is loosened slightly before the bolts holding the tie down strap are
removed. Use the phillips head screwdriver for this.

FCP Euro says:

Give us a call at 1-877-634-0063, our team can help you figure out the
right battery for your car.

PULPICHKA says:

Can you please tell which battery do you supposed to use, all I could see
is Bosch, I’m a woman I need some useful numbers:-) thanx in advance.

johnyboy6405 says:

It’s electrical and has acid and near the gas tank it’s very very
dangerous. It’s a time clock bomb. For example if you get hit in the back.
Sorry english

Fhantom99 says:

johnyboy6405 says:
