Is this the same for an s5?

You missed the chance to kinda say again how to installed the front end back. I know you have a video of how to take the front in off but would have been cool to seen the back on process ! Nice video tho!

@TopShelfZipp says:

So its one belt ??

Just fyi for anyone trying to do this – a lot of aftermarket pulleys/tensioners come with the T-50 fasteners, but the genuine parts will have an M10 triple-square fastener. I don't recommend trying to use a T-50 on the triple square bolts, if it fits at all it'll just strip it out before you even know what's happening. Triple-squares love to strip out even when you have the correct bit…

When replacing the tensior and idler. Should I purchase From Dealership or Can AutoZone n O’Reillys do the job.
If so what part # is it

** 5:50 it's an M10 triple square on the pulley **

Can you make this same exact video for a 2010 Audi a6 3.0t

@mikeprada1677 says:

What's the name of the stuff you're putting in rusty screws?

@lunchmoney3652 says:

I have a question. My supercharger pulley snapped today and the ribs were pretty much also disintegrated with lots of belt debris around the block. Would a bad supercharger tensioner have caused this?

@RaymondPerez-yj4ho says:

Incredible. Thank you

@jean-pierremallet3524 says:

great video, Valve grinding compound works great as well for removing stuborn screws, use it all the time on phillips screws in aviation, big timesaver instead of drilling a bunch of screws.

@danew.8807 says:

Brother thank you 10 fold for this.

@BB-yr1sc says:

Great video, but be careful If you following this steps. The original supercharger idler pulley isn’t held by T50 fastener, but by 10mm triple square type. I just stripped that bolt trying to use T50. If yours were replaced with aftermarket one you may have T50, Allen or even regular bolt. Don't be like me and verify that before you proceed.

@NotTommyJ says:

do you have to crank the 17mm tensioner clockwise to reinstall the drive belt?

@ortaegaclan4016 says:

Hi I’m having to do similar work on my b8s4 with the idler pulley failing and was wondering where you found your diagrams and part numbers?

@shibidi says:

Nice! The most helpful video for this job on these engines. Thank you for this.
