EXCELLENT VIDEO! Question about the flow and about a filter, please. 1) Keeping it simple, the top of the aux. cooler line goes to the top line at the engine and the bottom of the aux cooler line goes to what appears to be a filter (bottom line at the engine) on your video? 2) I saw someone mention installing an in-line filter? Does that mean a filter on the 2014mdx is not standard and if not, what type of filter should be installed? Thanks.
For anyone interested – there are aftermarket duplicates of the OEM cooler sold at a price savings. I saw them at a couple of online auto parts suppliers. Personally I prefer OEM parts but for those looking to reduce the cost of this upgrade there you are.
Did you see any improvement in shifting after install?
I was under the impression to have the trans filter before the cooler so the filter would catch debris from the transmission and not get into the cooler.

Hi there, I found your channel from an Acura owner forum. I am wondering what you can toll with the atf cooler installed. I am trying to tow a 20’ travel trailer that is 3100 lbs dry. The numbers work out but wondering if you had any experience actually towing your tear drop with the mdx?
