A friend had this issue, fluid frothing over, bad noise, said he drove for several miles like it. I thought he's probably destroyed the pump and/or rack by driving that far like it, but new o rings sorted it, it seems fine.

@CevasRene says:

You need to Change the Belt

Para mi solución fueron las abrazaderas de las mangueras puse de las que se aprietan con desarmador ya que las de presión solo cumplen con que no se tire el aceite **PERO**el aire se logra meter en la mangueras de baja presión.

What if it’s my hose from the power steering to the rack?

Question, my CR-V makes a whining noise all the tine that basically always stays the same. It doesn't get worse when turning the steering wheel or accelerating. I have not seen any drips of any fluid kinds anywhere. I also don't see my power steering being bubbly at all. Could this still be the issue or should I just buy a new power steering pump?

@JohnMcCaffrey says:

Wanted to confit the noise I’m hearing is water pump issue. I shall keep looking

Mine is noisy on first start and on cold days. It's a loud humming or dull grinding noise. Hard to turn the wheel. There are bubbles in the reservoir but no leaks anywhere. If it's just the o-rings that sounds too good to be true, tbh.

How to check the o rings?

Dude! You are awesome!
Well done Sir!

I have a 2016 Honda odyssey EX but I cannot find the size of these o rings. Any suggestions or help you can send my way?

@jowejc says:

Mine makes a loud noise in the cold. Happened last year & started to do this again recently.
Think it's the O rings causing this?

@hardhitt3r410 says:

But my resevoir has bubbles and its leaking out the reservoir why?

@MetalzxAngel says:

Sometimes you have to replace the pump and o rings. The pump tends to leak on that middle spot trust me it's hard to detect but do the left to right test and sometimes you can spot the leak on that wet spot area
