Best $70 you'll ever spend. This is prewired with RCAs to work with both the factory speakers, and amp. It is also prewired for a Metra Axxess ASWC-1 universal steering wheel controller. This is literally plug and play, and requires NO cutting of the factor harness. The only thing you have to do is wire a parking bypass, and you're good to roll. They also have a kit that includes the dash kit if you can't find one elsewhere.
I will also note that they primarily work with Pioneer units, but you can specify a different brand when ordering if thats the route you wish to take. Take the time as well to make sure you're choosing the correct harness, because the 07-08 are different from the 04-06.

I have same problem my double din head unit turns on and shows it's on everything works but I lost sound after like 2-3weeks and when I look at my amp it throws a red protection light and then turns off but I checked all the fuses and everything is fine .. so I'm curious what it is? Do I need to have someone look at the wires u did ?
Great video but you don't need to wire tap the steering wheel controls we could have hooked you up with a harness. Check out our channel if you are looking to add an aftermarket radio to your TL and want to be able to just plug it in and have it work with all the factory components.
I can get my amp to turn on for interior speakers but it cuts out my air blowers help me do I need a resistor

Just did this on my car. It also took me 3 days and I couldn’t get my backup cam to power on
I tried to tap into the same power source as you except I did the other light. The other light had two green cables and one ground. I think I will try the same side you used to try to power up my backup cam
