Here’s Why Detailing My Ferrari Engine Was Terrifying: How To Clean

A big thank you to Eagle One car care products for sponsoring today’s video! I used their 2 in 1 wheel and tire cleaner on my very dirty Ferrari wheels, and it did a great job of quickly removing all the grime, brake dust, and grease. It’s acid free, and very easy to use, just spray and rinse for an epic result every time. The pro look is easy to get with Eagle One products, plus it isn’t expensive. 7:25 "this is the engine, that makes the car go"
Well, for as long it last alright, so you better don't live to far from a ferrari dealer because else you might not make it al the way there.

3DPeter says:

750 dollars for a startermotor is insane, because they are made in a factory that makes startermotors for alot of car brands, so it's the name that you pay 3 times more for,
and i wouldnt be suprised when that startermotor would fit on alot of other cheap cars. i did had a seadoo jetski that had a fuel module, and that has a filter in it
that needed to be replaced and they want 400 dollars for it, because seadoo only sells the entire module, so i did search and search and found out that the entire module
is just a standard car part that is used in multiple car brands, and the filters were available for 10 dollars, and the electric fuel pump was only 60 dollars, so they all try to ripp you off.

I got news for you, all of it can get wet. Cars are designed to survive things like oh I don’t know rain… It gets more water contact driving in the rain for just 10 minutes than you used to do the whole cleaning. You’re just supposed to stay away from pressurized water.

God are they oem ferrari wheels? youd think they'd manufacture them to the point where they don't need 50 pounds of balancing weights XD not even crappy knock off cast wheels need that many

Steve Mack says:

Next time grab a can of 'armorall foaming tyre cleaner'… spray the entire engine bay and walk away! you will be absolutely amazed – no cleaning off no prep! I learnt that trick from a friend when I had one of my Corvettes.

WoTExpat says:

I used to have a GTS (1995) and had exactly the same issue with the interior. It was terrible – looked as though it was trashed. Also, the handbrake is known to be crap – serious design flaw. I never used mine. And guess what – my fuel filler cap has the same problem as well. 🙁

All in all, it's an OK car, but, it's not fast compared to today's standards. I now own a 2018 M4 and that would leave the 355 standing in every circumstance. Also, the 355 is just so attention seeking. Fun at first, but after 1 month it's tiresome. I do a lot of town driving and would average 12 MPG. Also, in London speed humps everywhere….. and you have to drive SO slowly over them. In terms of real-world driving, it's definitely not fast.

Anyway, nice vid.

Wrap the sensors with cling film

Preston Newcomb says:

personally I would have it done by someone who is insured. If it gets messed up it's covered.

mistreku says:

What if you just disconnected your battery and after you're done detailing, just let it dry properly?

Dave Unfairbank says:

hmmmm…the hood/bonnet is completely see through, i'm sure this keeps the water of those expensive electronics during a downpour…cause we never get caught out in the rain….ridiculous
