If your starter is not working and want to test the motor only, make sure you put the positive terminal on the motor stud. If not then the motor will not start. Follow if you enjoy my videos.

This test checks for piston ring blowby which can tell whether the engine is worn out or not. This was an excelent result for an engine with this many miles on it!
