Most do not. Besides that, even at that, most people don’t know how to use them and wont. I did a compression test on a ’96 R yesterday that had a broken odometer and a worn block. My guess is that oil changes were missed. :/
A lot of the 850’s have the digital milage readout in the cluster
LOL, I try to steer clear of any 1st year model runs.
my 93 850 I put 9k on the clock before I changed the oil …yes I know but the car had 221k so I wasn’t worried but it did start blowing smoke a lot in the morning start up…I sold it after that for more than I paid and told the guy it blew smoke.
I really didn’t car for the 93 850’s ..the 4 lug rims and the pieces and parts that a 94 850 wouldn’t fit from…
weird locking doors and always a short in the alarm system but I never have an alarm on it..
LOL, that is more work than replacing the gear. If you have the digital trip computer, it will count miles since last trip. Just let it run till it gets to 5,000.
I now +/- 100 km i have driven, because i noticed my broken odometer very soon. Now i am working with die digital daykilometer couter. All few weeks i read it, note it down and add it to my other notes. After every reading i reset it, to avoid problems if my battery gets empty or any other problem.

The trip lights are like the warning lights. They are also accessed when the cluster is out.
How about the lights on the trip computer screen? Mine are out. Are they hard to get to? Seems like it might be about the same work to reach as the odometer gears, being in the same area.
