Wiper arm repair: 10 to 20 minutes ($0 / $50 / $225)
In this video I show I have solve the issue with the wiper lifting off of the windshield on the Volvo 850. This usually happens with the drivers side but can also happen with the passenger side. Over time the tension of the spring will bend/deform the metal arm and cause it to lose it’s original shape. You can usually simply bend it back and it will be good for several more years.

Unfortunately that is only a temporary fix. There's no fixing the fatigue, and it'll just get worse every time you bend it back.
