I don’t really understand your question. If you are asking what the
standard HP rating is from the lot when new, the 2.3 T5 is rated at 222 and
the T-5R & R is rated at 240. I have heard of people safely modding them up
to 320 hp without any internal parts being changed.
LOL, yea, I just started doing video’s this year. My cousin talked me into
it.
Boy, I wish your videos were online when I bought my T-5R last year!!
You are welcome. I use to do printed instructions but I took a poll and
people said they wanted video 10 to 1 so I started doing them a few months
ago. Glad they help.
Thanks again RSpi007
Thanks for watching. If you can do some work yourself, these cars can last
real long and are fun to drive.
Thanks. I have a pre video but it is to harsh. I have to re do it. LOL
good video and advice
Thanks Robert another great video. As a new 98 V70 owner I am doing all the
things you mentioned. Getting ready to do the second fluid change on the
transmission this weekend.
Glad you found the video and are proceeding to protect your car. Hope you
get 500,000 out of it like I plan to do with mine. 🙂
Ok, thanks. I was asking about modding the car. Sorry, didnt say it clearly.
Great video! I have a question for you. Do you know the Hp rating, for the
internals of the T5 motor?
Thanks, Robert!! Excellent video! I have a ’97 850 T-5. bought it 4 years
ago with 145K miles, now has 198K miles. I haven’t really done anything but
change oil, but she’s been running like a champ. I am so glad I discovered
your channel, now all I want to do is work on my Volvo and do all things
you advise on your videos! I love my Volvo and want to keep it for a long
time, my goal it to get at least 300K miles… Thank you so much for
sharing your knowledge!!!
thanks for all the vids! I really want to buy my first volvo soon, an 850
or s70 sedan, they are very cheap where my parents live in Tampa Bay Area
on Craigslist in Florida. I appreciate all the videos on what to look out
for. I fix my cars myself and plan on sticking with whatever volvo I get
for a very long time.
