I’m not looking forward to doing this job. If I had a lift and all your tools it would make my life a lot easier

Jared Lentz says:

Wow a professional mechanic video that actually experiences Problems.

Erik Ny says:

Do I need a wheel alignment after this?

gt40driver1 says:

Check the drive shaft is still correctly seated in the gearbox its easy to pull it out put it all back together and have no drive.
Happened to me. Good video just check torque figures.

Sweden 2018 says:

Delroy Davis says:

Ive replaced my comtrol arm on my 02 s60 and now the bottom of my ball joint is tearing the inside of my rim where do i look to resolve this?

PetterCR7 says:

My spring is too long/stiff, the balljoint have no room to enter the socket… what to do? are my springs/shocks defective?

Mikael Kanerva says:

Are you sure the torque specs (and units) are correct? I broke a bolt doing this

Tony Medina says:

This better then fcp euro's version of the same part replacement video. You got way better lighting and video quality, more detailed information too. Thank you Sue, hope to see more videos from you.

gg taruc says:

What spray lubricant do you use?

Berriblast78 says:

Great video, but I think the torque specs are wrong. I snapped the bolt of the rear bushing… I found 65mn + 90deg on the front 2 bolts, and 105mn +90deg on the rear bolt…

Ed Vaselo says:

Great video. IMPORTANT NOTE: sometime in the middle of 2007, there was a transition from aluminum to steel control arms. Aluminum ones used ball joints with cones on each end (like in the video). Steel control arms used ball joints without the cones. So, ball joints are not compatible. I do not know if you can technically fit steel arms with the new type of ball joints on older models to replace aluminum.

marketbuy says:

What’s the reason for replacing the control arm? I have a 2008 XC90. It makes a clicking popping sound when I come to a stop or begin to accelerate from stop position. Tia.
