Oil Temp Sensor: 2 – 4 hours ($150 / $400 )

In this video I installed an oil temperature sensor in my Volvo 850 turbo. Cost will vary if you already have equipment and/or supplies but if you don’t have anything, expect to spend between $100 – $200 DIY.

Did you make the sump plug with sensor on your own? Or can you go buy it somewhere?

Is in that some engine oil channels which are blinded with screws like on Saab 9-3 2.0t? It would be more faster way and you would have real temperature on the engine oil circuit.
