My 2001 2500HD was losing freon. So I determined it was leaking from this exact fitting. Oh, and the compressor. And the flex lines. And the evaporator. I don't think the condenser was leaking, but why take a chance? I replaced all. And new accumulator, o-rings, orifice tube, Schrader valves, fittings, seals, and PAG oil. It is cold now. We will see.
My schraeder valve under the sensor plug keeps leaking. I’ve had to recharge 3 times in the past year cause of that same one valve.
Legendary timing my friend
Instructions unclear. Entire A/C system torn out because performance build.
Do you leave the valve under the brass cap or remove it?
That looks like the brass plug they use in brake systems. Where they plug brake lines or calipers or brake line tees?
Mine works and it's showing full charge. But it takes it a long time to start blowing cold air.
Dorman part # ?? (Brass plug)
Don't forget the Schrader valve for the high pressure sensor next to the radiator below the air filter.
Will this work on the updated shradder valve style on the high pressure side
