the blue light started flashing around the ac button. any idea? also, getting p0442 code: evap system. where should i start looking first?

Cory B says:

I have a 1998 S90 and the AC is going in and out. On hot days it just plain won’t work. On cool nights it seems to do okay. The Freon is topped off and within limits. I’ve heard the AC clutch needs to be replaced and I’m wondering what I should do. Your videos have helped me out so much working on my s90. Thanks!

man you are the best. You allow normal people to tackle what should be do-it-yourself jobs, with the knowledge we need and in a way we don't tear up our cars by doing it wrong. Thank you so much.

David Bennett says:

how to see if the climate getting power and if its, putting out power. The car is a 1997 S90 with the 960 climate control unit in it.

Paul L Kush says:

Hello Robert. Thanks in advance for all your expertise in these videos. Karma should treat you well. My question is simple. In my 1996 960 Volvo 4 door, the center knob on my Climate Control unit will not turn. It is literally frozen. All the other knobs work fine and the Air Conditioning and heating systems see to work fine. My problem is I can not redirect the flow of air made possible by adjusting the center knob. Thanks. Paul

Nate Gehman says:

do these controls have a tendency to go bad in the 960s. mine dosent direct air where it should any more is this my problem

Gonzalo Baigorria says:

Dear Robert, the air is not coming from the AA fan in my 960. Do you have a video where to see how is the disarm of the fan or the filter aa change please?

taku orawa says:

Just bought 1996 2.5l 960 wagon. More these videos please!! About s90 v90 960!!

My air is only blowing to windows and floor? Will this fix it? Or is it possible that there is an air leak somewhere? And if can't adjust the flaps?

Daniel McDaniels says:

My dad thinks the vents behind the dash inside is not letting enough air to flow through the dashboard vents. Could that be it or no? How long will it take to do that if it is?

PhoenixRising says:

Hey I could use some advice! I have a 98 Volvo s90 were trying to replace the radiator on. However we can't figure out how to disconnect the transmission lines from it. They are on the passenger side of the radiator, and are the hard kind not flexible. We need to do it without breaking them.

Sebastian Foster says:

Hi there, You're A Good Friend. accurate unequal What's your opinion about that, guys 11

Michael Sackstein says:

I usually just set the parking brake and move the shifter out of the way.

asplinduh says:

I actually dropped a screw down in the crevice in front of the shifter once, took me 5 minutes to fish it out lol.

zx8401ztv says:

Its a chunky device, im getting to like volvo because they dont mess around with half baked systems, solid as a rock technology.
I wonder if they ever ventured into motorcycles.
Ive allways thought v.w were good, but after "dieselgate" i think they have lost the plot.

CARS LOVER says:

very nice job
