Brake Service Mode – Volvo SPA Models (No Scanner Needed) #EPBServiceMode #VolvoBrakeService #Volvo

In this video, I demonstrate how to put the electric parking brake (EPB) on Volvo SPA platform vehicles into brake service mode without using a scanner tool.

This is essential for changing brake pads or working on brake calipers safely.

Applicable to many Volvo SPA cars including XC60, XC90, S60, V60, V90, and others (2015+ models).

No expensive diagnostic equipment needed — just follow this simple DIY guide!

I don’t understand. I did my rear brakes last year on my S60 2020, and I simply disengaged the parking brake. What’s the point?

I did this and replaced the brakes. Everything was going great. Once I was done, I went to put the car out of service mode. I heard the electric brakes turn on, but the sound went on longer. I took it for a drive, the parking alerts are still active and now the parking brake is stuck and won’t budge. Any ideas on what I can do to place it back into service mode so I can remove the caliper and retrace my steps? It seems like the ebrake is really stuck
