Simply apply a bit of heat to the ball joint housing. I dont mesn red hot i mean a bit of heat. Never file the housing, clean with a brass brush & kerosene. Refitting is easy if you put the ball joint in your freezer for ten minutes as well.
Use a press it's much easier
As a Retired GM certified and ASE certified master technician, I cringed at this video. Everything was done wrong. Harbor Freight ball joint press is only $50. I really hope you are not local to me or my family.
