Thanks for the video. Makes everything a little more clear.

Why is this guy getting so much hate? He posted a video trying to help
others find a problem that they might be having. I am having this same
exact problem, and now next time I’m going to check that hose or
surrounding hoses. Note that his mechanic skills aren’t all that great,
which he admitted too, he needed a quick solution for his CEL and to pass
emissions. Why would someone deserve to hear shit for that? And then bring
VW’s into this? All cars have problems. And one thing the VW’s lack in is
the hose durability, and the strengths are the engine constructions, get
off your high horse, quit hating on people’s vids, and if VW’s are so bad
then why click on the fucking video?

Good vid dude, thanks for the advice!

Comment back whatever you want but all this comes down to is people like
you who give VW’s a poor name…

The SAI pump hoses fail often on VW Passats Poor engineering design. The
placement of the pump next to the radiator (heat source) and splashed water
from the road causes premature hose failure. BTW newer models have not
corrected this issue

VW’s get a poor name from there reputation for unreliability.

Wow nice fix…that’s a pretty fuckin sloppy hacked job ya moron. 2
months!? Damn dude talk about retarted. That’s your crankcase ventilation
pipe which has nothing to do with your secondary air. What’re you too lazy
to find a complete replacement hose and fix it the right way? What a hack…
