Advance auto instructions say something about professional installation recommended because the battery is vented to the outside. should i have any concern about this? Venting instructions needlessly confuses me. thanks!

DO NOT FOLLOW WHAT HE JUST DID.
THE BATTERY NEEDS TO BE CODED TO THE ECU IF ITS A STOP START MODEL OTHERWISE THE ECU THINKS ITS THE SAME OLD BATTERY AND WILL INCORRECTLY CHARGE IT.
The video doesn’t state if it is or isn’t a stop start model so I’ve posted this to be safe.

We did this on my mk6 1.4 TSI
Other than resetting the clock, doing the steering wheel and following his verbal advice at the end regarding the windows it went fine!
