I have a 1977 convertible bug and totally restored and trying to sell and
put the front seats in properly and can’t find a video to tell me how the
pin goes in and the plastic pieces. Any help???? thank you
The back rest on the back seat of my 69 bug doesn’t seem to come out. The
fabric of the seat is attached to a metal strip on the frame of the car.
Any thoughts on how to get it out?
Can you show how to remove super beetle seats? I’m having a lot of
difficulty and I’m feeling rather stupid.
How about a video on how to put them back in, mine are ornery!!! It seems
so simple, but all I get is frustrated. And yes, I have the right seats for
the rails.

How do you take them out of a 1975 beetle? I’m wanting to take them to get
new leathers on them but i cannot get them out. Can someone help me please?

Not knocking your video, but if you can’t figure out how to take the seats
out of an old beetle without watching this video, it’s time to have someone
else work on the car.

@hjkgufytfyug My 71 has the spring tab as well.I had the second person and
it made things very easy.A warning though for the second person, if the
seat is sticky it can come loose quite suddenly.My second person nearly got
a finger mangled.

I know what you mean but wen you don’t know anything about a bug, and have
no money to take it to someone (Like Me) You start to rely on these….

on my 74 super beetle u have to push it back to get it out
Whenever I get to the part where he takes the spring off, and then moves it
again, I cant move it. I feel like I am hitting something and it just wont
budge. I cant lift it, or anything.
what interior is that? colors and brand? looks really awesome! want it for
my 63 bug
My 70 beetle didn’t have that lever and we had one hell of a time getting
it off. lol
haha i hate taking the back seat bottom out for battery work. and do front
seats for 71 supers work the same?
