Madison Denk says:

thank you so much for this video. I took my kids to southern Utah, USA from
Canada in my 74 Kombi and was able to change points off highway after
watching your video. It meant that we weren’t stranded and got safely to
our destination. Thanks again

Jeffrey Gleaves says:

Excellent video. First one I’ve found that has a close shot where I can see
what’s going on, and a clear and concise explanation.

Many thanks for all the kind comments about these videos, makes all the
hard work that went into making them worth while. But the biggest thanks
must go to Mark Reynolds – the man behind Just Kampers for funding them,
and making them free to view. I’m the baldy gap toothed one guiding you
thru the process 😉

Mr GShocker says:

I used to use a Dwell Angle meter too.

Glad I ran across the video, very helpful. I am still curious as to why I
burnt the wire coming from the points to the distributor, and from the
distributor to the ignition coil. I didn’t alter any of the connections,
could it possibly be from just sitting around, is it something that will
just go out every now and then? Thanks again.
