Changed the boot and knob six years ago, so it was time for a refreshment. Last time i bought a genuine knob for like 60$, that obviously is of much better quality. And the suede shift boot was loosing its color.
Wanted to try this cheap new china special, only 15$ or so. How long will it last? Not the same quality, but not bad for the price. And its always cool to see aftermarket parts thats produced in scale.

Is just replacing the knob hard? I've seen people having to drill them out and I don't really fancy that. If it's just a bolt and some prying I'd probably do it.
