Must be used special tool to hold the chain gear in position. Don't listen this people.
I bought that tool from VW for around a $100. plus shipping. However the issue is that I do not have a hoist and cannot get the right positioning of the pulley.
Those lug bolts are difficult. I wish I had know that before buying the car.
Where do you get the VW tool?
Why did u need to turn the bolt to 90° i change the pulley seal and after changing it my tiguan shuts off when i put it in gear and it crank for a while before starting.
it is possible that that piece makes noise like Bell bearing?
