Great video! very simple and easy if you follow all the directions. I just replaced my driver side mirror on a 2009 vw jetta sports wagon and it's as good as new! Thank you 1A, I really appreciate it!
Great video … thank you … just replaced my whole mirror assembly on Drivers side after order part from 1A and following these directions. Very impressed …
Thank you for this comprehensive and very helpful video. I'm no pro, but following your instructions, I replaced the passenger mirror in a little more than an hour.
I totally followed this for my '09 Passat and it worked perfectly!
Will this work for the 2008 vw rabbit passenger mirror?
How similar is this to a 2008 Passat mirror replacement?
This was an extremely helpful guide. I used it to replace my driver side mirror. I got the mirror from you guys as well, arrived very quickly.
one thing I noticed while doing mine. my door panel wires were not bundled like the example in the video. it's a 08 version, maybe they did it slightly different (although I don't know why they did). be careful of the T30 screws. one of the heads popped off.
But like I said, great tutorial. much appreciated.
Very good video!
The broken driver side mirror on my 2014 Jetta Sportwagon SE looks exactly like this mirror with a rounded outer end, and my VIN's 8th position is J. Is the replacement your 1AMRE02487 (OEM Part # 1K1857 507 DJ 9B9,) instead of the straight outer end mirror listed for a 2014 Jetta which will not match the shape of my passenger side mirror?
Thanks.. it help a lot.
Thank you for the great diy! just replaced mine and everything went well! Item was shipped quickly and the packaging was top notch!
Not in video: when i was doing mine like 2:05, the push-pull thing did not come out and fell through the gap from the plastic cover. I pull mine out with bottle opener. make sure you place all 5 when you are putting it back otherwise you dont here click noise.
excellent a bit complicated
Great video i followed it and in 30 minutes i had my new replacement mirror on! Keep up the good work! Thanks!
Extremely helpful video. Thank you.
Great video, good detail
How long would this take for a novice?
you guys are awesome
Does this method work on the 99 jetta?
Thank you , but what about nissan sunny 2009 ?
