so lets just say, i have this “friend”… that took the torsion arms out
without marking where they are suppose to go back in. Any advice on how to
put them back in without the reference marks?

Omg man please help! you skiped the part where you take out the splines and
where you put them back please can you help i have stripped splines and i
want to change them but all the vw mechanics say u have to take the eng and
trans out and they said it cost like a grand for an estimate plsase help
you took it off like in a second but you didnt show it please tell or show
i need to know this because i have school! Thanks in advance

C clamp is a good idea to get the caps on. I just use two longer bolts,
opposite corners, to tighten down the cap. Then I put the regular sized
bolts in on the other two corners and tighten those down. Next, I back the
first two long bolts out and replace them with the proper sized shorter
bolts. Done.

You should mark the arm position after releasing the pre load on the
torsion arm!

You should mark rocker arm by removing the lower part of the frame not
before. it is important to tension springs and the height of the vehicle
