Toyota Tacoma Vibrations, How to Fix This Problem

Single drive shaft replacement for those troublesome two-piece Toyota Tacoma shafts. In addition to working better at higher angles, it also reduces the amount of complexity of the drive shaft. Less moving parts means less things to fail. If you have a lifted Tacoma, you may be experiencing the typical Tacoma drive shaft shudder. This is usually felt upon takeoff or at low speeds while accelerating. If that is what you are experiencing, this video will show you how to fix this problem.

Azntrutek2012 says:

WHY ?? why wasted time & money to re-engineering the wheel ?

Zenas Kim says:

Don't get me wrong Tacos are amazing. But, it seems its way too expensive for what it comes with. Rear drum brakes, low power/speed, bad driveshaft, bad transmission, mediocre tires, and weak bed. Just better off getting a Tundra for the same price or even a 4runner.

$600 plus for the shaft, and it may,or may not fix your vibration problem, these Tom Woods shafts are NOT always a fix.

Buck Macgowan says:

that's who I went with for my Tacoma driveshaft. My Tom Woods shaft has been problem free for a little over a year now and no vibrations.

Michael W says:

Can’t you just get a carrier bearing drop kit?

Carleton Merrill says:

How to fix a taco, buy a wrangler.

Maxima says:

Nice vid.
I see that expander bushing being the weakest link in the driveshaft.
Imo, 5% doesn't even cover the tax. Guve a good discount. A 15% to 20% would be more of a deal.

Chump Cheddar says:

I think I'm going to keep my 2020 off road at stock ride height just seems to be way too many problems when lifting. Too much money to

Mervin Gamero says:
