For <$20 you can build a little device in your living room that can seperate hydrogen from water fast enough that you can run a tiny a hydrogen torch hooked up directly to a little Tupperware full of water. Don't even need to wait for a storage tank to slowly fill with hydrogen, the reaction is fast enough that you can get a flame directly from your little water dish. So we can definitely get hydrogen. But obviously it takes more energy to seperate the hydrogen from the water than the hydrogen actually generates. But maybe on a larger scale it could at least solve the range and charging issue of electric while also solving the pollution issue of petroleum, assuming the power used to generate the hydrogen is from renewables. Point is that if you can do it in your living room its not that crazy or far off a technology.
6 to 12 hours to charge, it will take 8 months to drive from LA to FLORIDA.

Oslo government agency just told people electric vehicles is not viable. There it costs way more to charge your car than gasoline.
2024 Toyota Tacoma will have a 4 cylinder twin turbo engine no more V6.
2023 is the last year Toyota Tacoma V6 engine.
So… What did they replace the Tacoma with?
Hydrogen refueling stations will soon be ready in the truck stops.
If Hydrogen infrastructure pops up in the US, I will gladly buy that over electric if I can’t get a gas powered car.
Why wouldn't you just charge it at home if it takes 6-8 hour's?
Toyota seems to be the smartest auto manufacturer now. They don't seem to be going head over heels with the EV craze.
I see a lot of hydrogen metro vehicles; they are mostly the city metro buses or trash collection trucks.

You're idiotic. You don't have to wait 6 hours. You can just charge it for an hour. It might be only a20% charge but it's free fuel

Switching to electric is a lot easier than switching to hydrogen. Electric is definitely going to win the race to replace gas. The federal government is just throwing money and building charging infrastructure. The same can’t be said about hydrogen.

I was part of the Tacoma empire. Made the truck beds at TABC, Long Beach, CA. from 1992 to 2008. We made the best parts money could buy on the Komatsu and clearing Niagara stamping presses. It's very hard to replace the king of small pickups. The truck beds are now made in Tacate , Mexico. I left due to down sizing. Am and will always be very proud of being a Toyota team member.
