NOLL72 says:

Saturns were great cars when GM corporate let them do their own thing. When corporate stuck their nose in, the brand did a nose-dive in quality. JMO.

Grass Seed says:

Woah watch out scotty big mad

307GRL says:

Son sold his Toyota Prius at >320,000 miles and still going. (Had Regular oil changes, air filters, fan motor replaced once). Four month old Celica has had two repairs ($200-$300 each) and already rotors are warped and need replaced. Our 2009 Camry was a lemon, but Previa, 4Runner, Sienna, Corolla, and Avalon were fantastic. Camry’s driver’s side window fell out at two weeks, computer unit replaced at 30,000, Engine sounded like a skill saw at 38,000 miles. All vehicles were given appropriate care and maintenance. Previa had 390,000 miles when we sold it, 4Runner-similar mileage.

Tool Time says:

Concerning the 1993 MR2 with a fuel pump problem, my '93 Camry had an unusual pump problem. After endless testing, I discovered that the plug under the back seat was VERY SLIGHTLY mis-shapen. I had to use a magnifying glass to see that heat (?) had slightly distorted the metal pins in the floor section of the plug. Easy fix but a major dog to find. Originally, to drive it after I found the problem, I got another upper plug from a junk yard and wired it with a plug to go into the (key operated) cigarette lighter. Worked great! THAT upper plug initially worked because it was NOT distorted like the original one in the car. Maybe (?) Toyota had plug problems that year…maybe? Incredible car otherwise. Crazy reliable.

Samuel Jason says:

Scotty, even most Lexus are Glorified Hyundais. Honda is something that is still worth looking at. At least the Accord.

wizard69 says:

You can't judge car brand by 1 car ! give me a break !!

NOLL72 says:

Myself, I think that the Auto Zone alternator might be the problem. They sell crap electronic parts and is why it doesn't align properly. JMO.

The moderately annoyed Canadian says:

John candy is a Canadian legend. I miss him

Elike Mohammed says:

So this little man hears from one dissatisfied car buyer and he is mad as hell. Who cares about this little man. Follow up and tell your viewers not to buy Toyotas.

al forge says:

You talk about Toyota rebranding old models look at the Mazda 2 rebranded as a Yaris hatch back I have a Yaris hatch back with less then 30000 miles and have already had to replace front pads and routers and am hearing a metal on metal noise from my rear passenger side Toyotas quality has gone down hill with this resection not only in Europe

Simbacu says:

Scotty I will say the Yaris is one of the worst built Toyotas just realize that, the newest Yaris is like driving a tin can, but being Toyota they still will always get you from A to B even if a door falls off

Tzvia Segal says:

Boy the gas mileage on those v8 Toyota's is crap, yes, but my 2002 4×4 Tundra just needed maintenance and a brake master cylinder, and power steering pump… in 17 years of both off road adventures and daily commuting.. I sold it and someone else is packing even more miles on it…Yea I have a '19 4×4 Tundra now but it sits on the driveway most of the time now because gas prices in SoCal will kill ya. I drive my mom's Prius. It's an 05 that just needed … well you know the drill… + those expensive batteries a few times… and two catalytic converters in 2 months… they kept running away. Park it in the garage now… can't afford that damn deductible… Hearing that the QC has slipped on the stuff made in Japan and being shipped to Australia … wow, sad. When I buy a Toyota, I plan on having it a couple of decades unless I fall in love with the new model first…

Antonio Silva says:

I have a 2014 Tacoma v6 and is like a Tank…
