This job is way over my head, maybe in my youth.
My 2009 Toyota Yaris sedan from Japan still blows cold with the original one. Bought it used from carmax a few years ago, I evacuated the old stuff and put new stuff in after I got it but still blows cold. Seems like old is better these days.
Right it wa s just a matter of time, wait till China starts shipping car overhear.

I have a 2014 corolla and I drive the crap out of it, only things done are belt and plugs once, tires twice, and 5-6k OCI. No major issues at all. Love this car.
My a/c compressor on my 98 toyota tacoma is still the same. I only had to replace the condenser and dryer over the years. I charged the refrigerant myself.
When Scotty said "turn it sideways" I thought about The Rock. Hahaaaa
