Around 120k miles – Needed new charcoal canister.
Around 200k miles – Needed new alternator and new brake rotors
Every 100k miles – Need new serpentine belt
Over 200k – Might get transmission sensor issue… probably most costly repair.

My issue with a 2007 Corolla at the moment is the Timing Chain Tensioner, bought the part but I havent had the time to change it. Like you said, there is oil around it.

Plz plz help I've gone to dealership and a regular mechanic shop ,the problem is when it's hot outside my instrument panel lights up like a Christmas tree I have no power steering no ac no power windows odometer is not working or the blinkers ….I replaced the thermostat ,alternator, battery after shelling out 600 bucks for the repair the problem still exists the engine operates ok the radio ok but have to manually push the button to unlock the shifter, plz help me someone ….
