we need to blame the cops for the high beams, they need to do there jobs and write more tickets for that, i thought it use to be illegal not dimming your lights to on coming cars

Personally, I would have used the old nut & thrown on the lock washer that came with the unit.

Remember your battery terminal isn't the only thing you should check. I've seen factory grounds with paint under the lug. This severely limits your current carrying capacity.

Great video, thanks. I would have also cleaned the mating surface starter to casing, as you did say the front bolt was loose. Perhaps some corrosion there with poor return earth ?

Noticed when Ray was hitting the starter with the hammer that there were already "witness marks" right where he was hitting. Maybe the customer was doing the same thing, suggesting he (the customer) knew/suspected there was a starter problem.
