Today I share with you a very sad story of a car purchase that really went south for the new owner of this Toyota Sequoia. And why you should never rush or make excuses when buying a used Toyota assuming it’s a reliable car and skipping over many red flags.
In this video we do an inspection on a 2001 Toyota Sequoia that initially checks all the right boxes but as the inspection goes through, more and more red flags appear that I wish everyone would be aware of.
Buying a car is a stressful endeavor even for those that know about cars. That’s why it’s essential that you spend the most time truly checking a car out.

Whats worse than states not doing inspections? States that still salt the roads! WA doesnt salt roads amd they have snow/ice and cars all survive well there with minimal sun damage. Cars in Ohio etc; are 5 years old and you can pass a jelly donut thru rust holes on the quarter panels…insane we still allow the salt on roads. At least illinois has a gun free zones that dont save lives but cars are allowed to drive around swiss cheese frames lol.
I'll never buy any toyota.
Looking at the casual damage, it reminds me of repo'd cars I would be told to clean up when they were recovered at the dealership. They were always high end models, cracked windows, missing wheel covers, cigarette burns, broken door handles, no service. I tell me friends never buy a repo'd car.

EVERY mechanic does not say Buy a Toyota…. That said my '04 LeSabre turned 250k and is doing fine. My '87 F350 also is great. Drive what you want…my Toyota owning days ended in 1979.
You should never buy a used car unless you have a mechanic take a look at it first
Do you happen to know which manufacturer makes Toyotas locking diff actuators.. don’t wanna spend the extra if asin is the oem
