Vaseline is a good substitute for dielectric grease. I have used it for 40 years on battery terminals.
Scotty I have a 2011 VW Jetta with a 2.5 Liter 5 cyl. Allegedly it’s one of the most reliable Gas engine VW made. Do you agree ? Live in RI btw Glad you like NEW ENGLAND.
The Honda with fans cycling every 8 seconds, had the same problem on my ‘03 Accord because the mechanic overcharged the AC system. It would kick on briefly, then off. By the time the fans stopped spinning the AC tried cycling again…

Hi Scotty. I purchased a 2007 Honda Pilot with 185.000 miles on it about a year ago. I want to replace the transmission fluid and filter. But I'm told that the filter is not DIY serviceable on this transmission. Is this something I need to worry about?
