Thank you for video, explained perfectly. However, when I went to my vehicle the 19mm bolt to use is BROKE OFF?! Suggestions on what to do to get belt off? I have to change alternator.

Do you need to take the passenger side front wheel off to put the new belt back on?

Im working on Camry 2004 LE 6 cylinder and to get to that 19mm nut I had to first remove couple of things to have better access to it. I dont see that part held by two log nuts I had to remove, actually I cant find a film with exactly same model of Camry and yours seem to be a bit different under the hood, at least to me. You say yours is 06, mine is 04. Well, this was my first attempt tonight, unsuccessful cause didn't have the right wrench and wasn't sure which one log nut exactly was that 19mm. Will try again today, you're right, with the right tools it could be done. Thanks for sharing this.

That's genius. I did this the old-fashioned way, and I kept thinking "I wish my ratchet had a curved handle!"

Ricardo Vela says:

Great trick! Is it possible to do that with a breaker bar?

Dakota Owner says:

Thanks Paul, excellent trick.  Great info for anyone who doesn't know where to start.
