Nice video. Where did you get the fuel pump from?

Damon Krane says:

Thanks so much for these videos, Lawrence. I’m thinking about buying a 1977
Hilux motorhome with a bad fuel pump. Lifting the coach off the frame (like
you did with the truck bed here) would be a pretty big project, so I’d
probably either drop the tank or cut through the coach floor to get to it.
I’m pretty good with a wrench but haven’t ever messed with anything
fuel-related because I’ve been nervous about gas igniting. You mentioned a
plug at the bottom of the hilux gas tank to drain the fuel. When it comes
to draining the fuel and unbolting the fuel pump sending unit from the top
of the tank, are there any special precautions that should be taken?

Lawrence Duarte says:

Oh yes there are bolts at either end to drop the tank out. And you are very
lucky i have always wanted one im kinda jealous. Have fun with it and
thanks for watching.

Hello, I have a chance to buy a 1975 toyota chinook motorhome, I’m hoping
it doesn’t need a fuel pump, because you would have to take off the camper,
is it possible to drop the tank to do the work? thanks, nice video
