What about a 2003 4Runner? All these vids only go up to 2002 models. Thx!
I’m actually have some problems with my 2002 T4R headlights – they are
aimed too low. I’ve tried correcting them using the adjusters you mention
in the video (8:34), but they won’t get any higher, only lower (ie. only
one direction has an effect). The white disk (with “teeth”) on mine is not
inside that black plastic structure, but is now fully exposed. Can you
offer any advice? Are mine broken?
Great video – comprehensive description and demonstration. Thanks!
does this work for 1990 toyota as well?
What about 2007 4Runner?
Thanks man, worked just as described!
It it’s a 2002 Toyota 4 Runner than yes this would be the same on your
vehicle.
You may want to try to turn the adjusters in the opposite direction to see
if it raises the light for you. It’s usually easier doing this with the
light on and aimed at a wall or garage door. The truck should be 25′ from
the object that you’re using to aim the lights.
HI Mike, You should be able to purchase a new one form your local dealer.

I need to replace the plastic connector to the bulb (2000 4Runner) — went

Very helpful – thanks for posting !!
your problem is indicative of a damaged headlight adjustment mechanism
unfortunately replacement of the complete headlight assembly will be
required. id recommend a high quality precision manufactured replacement
