Yours would more than likely be in a different location, since it’s a
different motor. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Is it in the same place in a 97 gmc Jimmy

MrKevgod says:

i have a 99 camry ce, 4 cyl i turn the key, it turns everything on IN the
car, but won’t turn the engine over, if i fiddle with the key it starts
most of the time on 2nd or 3rd try, but once in a while takes much longer,
like 20 times we replaced the ignition switch so far and tezsted starter,
could it be the cps?

1A Auto Parts says:

@MrKevgod This might be the issue. If you have a check engine light on you
should have the code pulled to see what it’s pointing to.

I have a 99 Camry 4 cyl. The engine cuts out at 2800 rpm, all gears. It
runs fine otherwise. Any ideas?

Hi 1aauto i have a question. I’m only 17 so I really need you’re help on
this one. I currently own a 1996 Chevy Silverado C1500 5.7 Liter engine,
with the V8 Vortec, and is also rear wheel drive. I’m getting it fixed and
i put a brand new starter and a brand new battery in it, but the car still
wont start. I dont need a new flywheel or anything like that, but the
mechanic said what I need is crank sensor. I want to know if this
Crankshaft Position Sensor is the same as a crank sensor. Thanks! 🙂

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the fuel pressure going to the motor with a fuel
pressure guage.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have a video that shows this repair on this particular
vehicle however when you take the battery out, there should only be a few
things that secure it to the battery tray. You also want to remove and
attach the positive battery cable first, when you take the battery out of
the vehicle and place it back in. Hope this helps out.

Hi 1aauto, I have toyota camry 99. I have codes p0441, p0446 and p1300. For
441, 446 I replaced my whole canister with vacuum and VSV and also purge
valve but still having the codes. If not these parts are the problem, what
would it be? For 1300, replacing crankshaft sensor will solve the issue?
Thanks a lot.

PISTOLERO1310 says:

its probably the distributor…..

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to make sure there isn’t a loose wire coming off of the
battery, or anywhere else in the engine bay. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

The coil could be the issue for the P1300 code but it could be also the
distributor as well as a relay issue. Without the proper diagnosis, you
will just end up tossing parts at the car.

1A Auto Parts says:

If you are having and issue like the car overheating, you could have an
issue with the radiator fan not working correctly. Your best bet would be
to bring it to a mechanic and have them diagnose the issue for you.

BrianCzarCanada333 says:

This was very helpful.Didn’t think about that sensor checked all of the
others.They were okay.Thanks

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the coil or plug wires. You also may want to have the
computer scanned to see if there are any codes stored. If there are, they
should tell you what’s causing the issue. Hope this helps you out.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this on this
particular motor. If you have a Haynes or a Chiltons manual it should show
you where it’s located on your vehicle.
