Thank you for the instructions. CR 2016 fits best for 2010 Toyota Camry.

I owe you SO MUCH!!! Thanks a million! My key went through the wash by mistake, but I found this and followed the instructions (within 2 hours of washing). Took everything apart & dried. Somehow water had not got to the circuit board, though it got everywhere else. Cleaned (Qtips & microbrushes helped), put back together. Now the key works fine.

Saroj Poudyal says:

Instructions are great but be careful with cr2025 batteries. I bought the cr2025 based on this video for my 2010 camry but when I open the case it said 2016. So I was hesitant to open the battery pack but I opened it anyway after reading the comments here. The battery fits with brute force but looks like it squeezes the button too tight. As soon as I try to close the main casing, my alarm go off and won't respond to any other key press. I had to remove the casing to stop the car alarm going off. Wasted 5 bucks on batteries, will have to go buy 2016 now. Sucks!

Good stuff mate, appreciate it!

adongu says:

CR2025 will fit if its a CR2016 you actually see when you first open the fob up. If you just closed the black container down. Press all the buttons repeatedly so they fit back into the button and doesn't keep beeping after you first replace it.

Ricardo de la tejera says:

Thanks! You helped me save a good amount of money going to my local locksmith.

Dan Turner says:

Thanks! Just changed it out the fob this afternoon. Easy-peasy! Used the CR2016 battery.
We have a 2009 Corolla. 227,000 miles on it. 200,000 miles more to go!

Biofan813 says:

Great step-by-step instructions. I could not believe how many tabs held the case together.
