I drive by the Tundra plant every weekend on my way to the salvage yard to get parts for my 10th gen F150.
I was out looking for a Tundra. But then I found out they don't offer the V8 anymore. Deal breaker for me.
They are copying the other car companies just like they always have!
God will do nothing for you.
I probably won't be in the market for a car for another 10 years, as I have a 2013 RX 350 with just over 100,000 miles, and a 2011 Venza XLE that just cleared 90,000 miles. Both of those have the same V6. No turbo, naturally aspirated. They'll last forever. They run like brand new today. I would never buy a turbocharged vehicle. They just wear out faster. There is no denying that at all. A turbo diesel is a completely different animal, but even with that, what are you looking at with the price of diesel these days? Give me a naturally aspirated V8 over a twin turbo V6 any day. But, I get why Toyota is doing it. It's just another in a long string of negative consequences that comes with a stolen presidential election in 2020. They put those twin turbo in the Tundra purely for emissions reasons.
Mechanical 4×4 drive is the only way to go; they last without problems, whereas electronic 4×4 always cause problems.. I have mechanical 4×4 on my older pkup. and hate to trade it in because all the new ones are electronic..
I agree. Not turbo of any manufacturer for me. To many variables can go wrong. Give me simple. Have an 04 Sequoia with 245k miles. Only downside is it’s got a belt not chain
I love mine. 188k trouble free miles. Going to have to do the valve gaskets pretty soon though.
