My 2015 1.3L Yaris with CVT also gets great fuel economy! 59mpg once on motorway (easily over 50mpg other times) & 43mpg in town/city here in the UK. The manual gets ONE mpg less than the CVT!

Scotty, I thought you were coming after our '95 Toyota Tercel. 70k miles, and maintenance done by date not by distance. Only three problems – the original red paint is bleaching/oxidizing because my wife kept getting coupons for the car wash; and now because she worked from home past 10 years the fuel injectors are clogging up.
Gonna try your cleaning method and get back to you.
That third problem… it takes me 10 minutes to get my 6'2" body out from behind the wheel.
