Amazon Part Fail Special! Let's Try This Again!

Amazon Part Fail Special! Let's Try This Again!

This 2014 Lexus RX350 Had an Amazon Part Fail special! We are tearing this bumper again after the owner bought some parking sensors from amazon that didn’t even work!

Folks here we go again with fake parts and parts that don’t do anything when you plug them in. Plenty of legit sellers online selling parts and unfortunately plenty of fake and simply horrendous parts online. Be careful of the source of parts when buying online!

ALO HA says:

If the old sensors worked fine, a little bit of sanding and repaint would have easily taken care of them. They work fine even if repainted.

Anthony Master says:

You always get for what you paid for in life. If the price is way too cheap, to be true, always stay far from it. Here is a tip for Lexus owners, you can get Lexus OEM parts from Lexus of South Atlanta’s online store, most parts are about 15% cheaper than other Lexus dealers in the nation. If you buy $100 or more, you get free shipping. Also no sales tax too. I have been ordering parts from them for years for my LS 430. I am from the west coast, but I always order parts from them and have my local Lexus dealer to maintain the car. Just enter your VIN #, on the search bar, to ensure you purchase the right parts & color (if applicable) for your car.
Mr. Car Care Nut is a true professional mechanic with tremendous work ethics and great heart ❤️. Thank you for another great video, as always.

Milford Civic says:

I'm glad my car doesn't have any of this stuff.

itsthemetho says:

The irony is that I installed $10 reverse parking sensor system from China on 3 family cars. I have replace 2 controllers over 5 years, but the sensors are bullet proof.

I would agree many "aftermarket parts" used to replace OEM ones are risky and often poor quality. The only problem is when really old cars are unsupported by thier OEM and you have to find an aftermarket replacement. Best to stick with better brands when going aftermarket.

Don Cannady says:

too much tech and plastic, give me a basic vehicle please.

Wayne Pabillon says:

Can you make a toyota hilux 2.4 diesel manual review and its issues after few years? Just bought mine last April 2022, Always watching from the Phillipines. Thanks for making this videos.

Steve C says:

The lesson I learned, never buy a no name part (or unnamed manufacturer) from Amazon again. Too many junks floating around on Amazon nowadays and ended up wasting my time (and $)!
It's sad that Amazon allows it to become this way!

Coach George Ferran says:

You're a lucky man Matthew to learn from the Car Care Nut, you did great and welcome to Car Care Nut world. Well done as always Ahmed, thanks so much.

Quintin says:

Hello. Do you have an email that I could contact you on? I have a question about my GX470. Thank You!

Michael Mallon says:

changing perfectly working sensors because of paint chips and went through all that headache. I would have tried a little touchup paint first, if it bothered me. If it affected the sensors , then I would change change them.

Peter Kwok says:

OEM is always better especially electronic parts.

Emilio G. says:

Mathew!! You’re very luck to be working with the Man. Best of luck.

David Perez says:

Mathew you are now in ths best place to learn and work, If I could I send my Rav 4 there without any doubt.

Kai Speed Shop says:

Hey Matthew have you ever done the Thermostat valve on a 2018 ls500?
