Lost the only master key for a 2001 lexus 430 , the dealership does not record the key programming via the car VIN . So to resolve the issue you need to replace the engine anti theft module , the ecu controlled steering lock mechanism and the engine ecu reprogrammed plus a new master key fob.The repair was going to be in excess of $5000 Australian dollars.

I've an sc430 (quite a rarity here in the UK) and was worried but, it's a 2005 4.3. The more I hear about timing chains the more I start to think belts are better. I had mine replaced along with the water pump for $600.

I bought a 1999 LS400 for $4,500 with 120,000 miles on it now 150,000 miles and a 2004 LX470 with 170,000 miles in 2020 for $11,000 now it has 210,000 miles great cars!!

From what I hear, the ISF 5.0 V8 is probably more reliable than the LS 460 v8 by far
Hey scotty i watch and follow your videos quite religiously and i have a problem with my 06 GS when it starts up cold it has rough idle for about 10 15 seconds and then while warming up the car just randomly shakes can't figure out what it is
I plan on buying 2006-2008 LS and this video is quite helpful.
